Gas Station Leak with Excavation Liner

This legal animation shows a water test on an underground storage tank (UST) at a gas station. The sump on the underground storage tank (UST) fails its water test due a faulty penetration fitting on the Buffhide Buffalo Tank. The fitting is replaced, but during the repair, a screw punctures a product (gas) line that was located too close to the sumps. In this scenario the USTs are in a proper leakproof excavation liner which contain the leak. Trial Exhibits, Inc. was hired on this case to demonstrate the multiple updates to the gas station and different scenarios that would help prevent a gasoline leak with Methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE), a gasoline additive, getting into the groundwater.
