The normal anatomy includes the superficial posterior compartment, deep posterior compartment, lateral compartment, anterior compartment, superficial peroneal nerve, deep peroneal nerve, and the anterior tibial artery leading to the dorsalis pedis artery. The leg with compartment syndrome shows the swelling of the muscles within the anterior compartment.
