Why Computers? More and more, attorneys around the country are recognizing the benefits of electronic presentations. An electronic presentation makes use of computers, projectors, and television monitors to show and help support the information that is being given to an audience such as a judge and jury. These types of presentations have been used for many years by companies outside the legal industry, and until recently were not accepted by many as a reasonable option for use in trial because of technological hurdles. Of course, with the rapid advancement of computer technology over the last few years all the previous barriers have been broken. Presenting information or exhibits electronically offers several key advantages over the more traditional “easel and white board” approach, and enables new types of exhibits that were just not possible before.
