Coagulate Blood (SMA) - Necrosis Tissue
Medical legal animation starts with identifying the normal anatomy of the arteries of the abdomen. Showing the blood flow through the Superior Mesenteric Artery (SMA) and the primary & distal branches of the SMA. Hypercoagulable blood disorders are seen when the blood clots easily and does not break apart. If the blood slows in a widespread area prone to clotting, the blood can coagulate in multiple vessels resulting in a loss of blood flow to that area and necrosis of the tissue.
